As I begin my sketchbook/journal journey I've decided there are some pages I need/want at the beginning of my sketchbook to destroy that struggle for a perfect first page. To keep a decent pattern going I'm going to share them here. That way I can perfect my preferences, keep them in order, and expand on them as I grow. Feel free to bookmark this journal and do them yourself! 1. A well wishes page. In my sketchbook the first page is dedicated to a small note to myself and my sketchbook, wishing good things in the future of this book. My current note reads: "Help me love, learn, evolve, grow, and have fun! Let me fill your pages with ideas, sketches, planning, thoughts, work, and yes, even "bad art." Help me create through struggle, journal, feel and be inspired. Help me open you and draw." 2. A Page with a Wish List, Goals, and Music. This is exactly what it sounds like. A page sectioned off for things I need or want, goals, and the music I found notable while working in this
RedBubble, a Wedding, and a Pandemic
Hey there Sports Fans! As usual, long time no post. You might have noticed that recently I've been making a lot of art posts. With everything happening around Covid-19 I've been working from home, so I went out, purchased myself a Canon scanner, and have spent the last couple of months sorting my paper artwork, and scanning pieces I like. Some of them have never seen the light of day, some of them definitely have. What ever I enjoy most has been getting a facelift, and uploaded here and on Redbubble. RB has been mostly neglected, because most of my art gets pulled down... so I've tried to be selective, and I'm even working on updating some pieces that will actually fall under their fan art licensing programs. If the art is uploaded I'll mark it to notify if I update with Redbubble. Outside of that I am self isolating because I'm immunocompromised. Thankfully I have a job that allows me to do that, but it has been rough. Like everyone else I miss my friends and family. I'm also
Where have you BEEN?!
...On social media, like everyone else
Apologies Sports Fans! I moved out and figured out that adulting is /exhausting/. But you're welcome to join in my shenanigans elsewhere! I'm not leaving deviantArt, but I don't have the same amount of energy to art anymore, so my posts may be fewer.

Animethon 20
Hey there Sports Fans!
Next weekend is Animethon 20 (August 9th to 11th) and I'm going to be a SUPER busy bee that weekend! First of all I'll be in the Artist Alley all weekend with a table in the center isle of the islands. I *might* also be cosplaying as Sailor Mercury all weekend. This entirely depends on whether my costume is completed. The girl I commissioned has been busy with our entire groups costumes, and I told her to work on mine last, therefore I suffer for it XD.
And last, but most definitely not least! I'll be hosting not one, but TWO panels this year! Both will be on Friday. One and noon, the other at 7pm.

I don't see any pics o.0 Is it just my computer? T-T
Due to popular demand... I'm going to post the work in progress for my Chibi Moon gk here. Sorry if there's some random dialogue. I've mainly copy and pasted the WIP from the forum on E2046.com.
I received Chibi Moon and a Hina Ichigo (Rozen Maiden) figurine on Monday, so this is already my third day into this. Everything I paint is hand painted. This (Chibi) was supposed to be my first time using a primer (baaad, I know) but I had issues and realized I kept spraying too much. I'll give it another go with Hina.
^The work space.
Thought you guys would get a laugh at the proportions in this kit. It looks cute assembled, but wow.
First, some flash and tab trimming. This intimidated me and I've worked for 6 years as an operator in a plastic plant lol. It's done now, but any tips on how to deal with something similar in the future? I hacked, scrapped, dug, and sanded with my knife and sand paper until I knew she'd hold her Twinkle Bell. Aesthetically it's probably not the best, even though I'll probably glue the bell into her hand.
Face painted!
Getting a photo of (and doing) her blush work was hard. I tried hand painting it, but found it difficult in such a small area to keep it natural looking. I opted with crushed oil pastel smudged in by hand.
Limbs and head are almost finished with pink and skin tone paints. I done most of this tonight.
Last photo for the night. Chibi Moons face almost finished. Hmmm... maybe I should wait until the end to show you her finished face? :-P
This is pretty well everything painted (I wasn't kidding lol). Her legs and arms attached with really big gaps. This is my first time using putty on a figurine, so this was really experimental. Not really sure if it would be easier to make the fix this way, or putty it before everything.
I decided to go with the Manga version of Super Sailor Chibi Moon. The only real difference is that her skirt colours fade into each other, rather than stripe, and her collar fades from pink into yellow.
The putty over her leg and one arm.
I think Chibi Moon might need some eyelashes.
The base puttied and primed for the most part, as well as the flowers I'll be adding.
This was the mess that was her bangs. Making them fit wasn't possible. They were broken into 2 pieces, 1 that fit, 1 that was HORRIBLY warped. I decided to glue them the best way that they fit, and then putty them.
Putty! What a mess D= I'm not a fan of anything putty, clay or soft. It never works out.
Aaaand this is my last photo for my WIP. A good luck at the face
