Sailor Mini Moon (Chibi Moon if you hate me for liking the American version)

I created my own uniform for her teen years since she doesn't get this far in the anime. Her character was always most adorable as a teen. To bad it was only for an episode =/ More ChibiUsa and Pegasus! =O

Based off the version of Sailor Moons uniform in Sailor Stars.

Painting done on 10x15" Illustration board with gouache (most likely spelled wrong). Sakura Micron pens, Faber Castell brush pen, and white gel pen

Very nice!

You're actually very close to what Naoko-sempei, herself, designed for Chibi-Moon for the manga version of the Stars arc. I'll give you a few links - maybe when you reply {the computer I'm currently using is a bit slow}.

Actually this is pretty close to the eternal outfit Takeuchi did draw for Chibiusa.

Let me see if I can find a link to the illustration...hmmmnnn no such luck. It may be on the web but I don't have the time to find it. It was on a pullout poster in one of the old tankoubans.

I like your color choices! It's visually very interesting. The pose is so spot on for Sailor Moon! I think going back over some of your lines when you finished painting would make it stronger. It would especially enhance the areas that are supposed to glow, where you would not want to reinforce the lines.
